Human Resource (HR) Consulting

Our HR Consulting Unit works collaboratively with our clients to improve and manage the employee lifecycle, ‘people’ component of change management and effectiveness of the HR function. The service may include:

  • Advising on human capital strategy
  • Providing HR financial guidance
  • Providing HR technology and transformation advice
  • Consulting on Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management (developing recruitment, training, performance management systems and retention initiatives with clients), HR Strategy, and the people-component of change Operations Management and M&A integration.
Operations Management Consulting

Our Operations Management Consulting Unit’s focus is to work collaboratively with our clients to improve the operational aspect of their organizations by focusing on their management systems, processes and employee behaviour. The service may entail:

  • Improving the effectiveness of the value chain, including major processes such as researching and designing products and services (R&D), product development and product design);
  • Sourcing raw materials or product or service components (global sourcing, procurement and inbound logistics);
  • Making the actual services to the marketplace (all outbound logistics, distribution and warehousing activities); and
  • Interacting with customers and clients (marketing, sales, merchandising and customer service functions).
Strategy Consulting

Our Strategy Consulting Unit works with our clients to improve the long term, strategic health of their organizations. The activities include:

  • strategic planning (corporate strategy, business planning, capabilities strategy and advisory, strategic management capability development);
  • organization strategy (organizational restructuring, high-level organizational direction setting, strategy-linked organizational development services);
  • marketing, sales and branding strategy (e.g., sales force effectiveness, pricing strategy, channel/distribution strategy and customer strategy); and
  • financial strategy (M&A support, corporate finance, governance and strategic financial management).

Intergovernmental and Trade Development Consulting

The Intergovernmental and Trade Development Consulting Unit focuses on initiating, developing and sustaining governmental and trade relationships between Manitoba Province and other countries and states of the world.

For example, we were involved in Centrallia, a business to business forum organized by Agence Nationale et Internationale du Manitoba (ANIM) and Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. Centrallia was a unique business match-making event that attracted 602 business owners and leaders from Manitoba and around the world to Winnipeg. We were also involved in the Benue State Governor’s visit to Manitoba that resulted in various memoranda of understanding and a visitation team to Benue State from Manitoba.
